Victoria Westminster Property Owner BID

A new opportunity for property owners to shape the future of London Heritage Quarter.

We are seeking to establish a Property Owner Business Improvement District for Victoria Westminster designed to complement the existing occupier BID (Victoria Westminster BID) already operating in the area.

 

Why a Property Owner BID?

A Property Owner BID would give property owners, landlords and investors:

  • A unified voice on strategic issues affecting the built environment and long-term asset value
  • Direct influence over investment priorities, placemaking initiatives and area-wide improvements
  • Collaborative leverage to address challenges that individual owners cannot tackle alone – from public realm enhancements to sustainability programmes
  • Additional resource to enhance operational services, adding budget and capacity to deliver more for the area
  • Aligned interests with occupier BIDs, creating a coordinated approach to making Victoria Westminster more attractive, competitive destination

 

Working in tandem

A Property Owner BID can operate on two levels.  Strategically, it focuses on the long-term issues that matter most to those with a lasting stake in the area – capital projects, planning engagement, infrastructure and the factors that underpin rental values and investment returns.  At the same time, it strengthens the operational agenda by providing property owners with a direct voice in day-to-day priorities and contributing additional budget to amplify the services already delivered by the occupier BIDs.

Together, both structures create a stronger, more resilient partnership for London Heritage Quarter.

  • Confirmation of BID Proposal – 15 May 2027
  • Despatch of Voter Canvass – 2 July 2027
  • Close of Voter Canvass – 3 August 2027
  • Despatch of Notification of Ballot – 17 August 2027
  • Despatch of ballot papers – 31 August 2027
  • Close of Ballot – 30 September 2027
  • Issue of Result – by 5pm Friday 1 October 2027
