The London Christmas lights 2026 will soon begin! Christmas lights on the iconic Strand and Villiers Street are switched on 12 November 2026. These dazzling London Christmas lights displays are among the most enchanting sights in the capital, drawing visitors from near and far to experience the magic of Christmas lights in London.

The date for the official Trafalgar Tree lights switch on is yet to be confirmed, however the tree will return to Trafalgar Square on 3 December 2026. The Christmas light switch-on will be hosted by Westminster City Council.
