About London Heritage Quarter

London Heritage Quarter is the collective of four South Westminster Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) – Victoria, Victoria Westminster, Whitehall and The Northbank

Stretching from Victoria Coach Station through to Parliament Square, Strand and on to the Royal Courts of Justice, the four districts cover some of central London’s most iconic locations and visitor destinations, as well as thousands of businesses from FTSE 100 companies to smaller creative businesses and start-ups. London Heritage Quarter works closely with Westminster City Council and other partners to support business growth, enhance the environment and lobby on behalf the diverse business communities.

Our Districts

Includes the major transport interchanges of Victoria Rail station and Victoria Coach Station. The site is an important site for transport, culture and heritage. As one of the commercial epicentres of London, with close proximity to London’s tourist hotspots, the area experiences high traffic from workers and tourists alike.

Encompassing James Park tube station, Parliament Square and Westminster Abbey. Victoria Westminster’s inclusion of famous tourist attractions and availability of spaces to gather, results in large worker and visitor footfall.

An area of historical and political significance. It includes 10 Downing Street, the Palace of Westminster and House Guards Parade. Consequently, there is large footfall from tourists in this area. The area is also dominated by the large number of civil servants who work in government offices. Public spaces include the riverside Whitehall Gardens.

A diverse riverside quarter spanning from Trafalgar Square, along the Strand and Embankment to Aldwych. The area offers attractions including nightlife, art galleries, theatres, heritage sites and high-end hotels. There are also a variety of open spaces to gather such as Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square and Victoria Embankment Gardens. The site also includes Charing Cross Rail Station.
