This unique London venue, located on the River Thames, is an exceptional setting for events of all sizes. It combines cutting-edge technology, expanded capacity, and newly developed outdoor spaces, all within easy reach by rail, tube, or river. Whether hosting a large-scale conference or an intimate one-to-one meeting, the venue offers a variety of rooms tailored to different needs, all supported by outstanding service and high-quality catering.

At the heart of the venue is the Engineering Hub – a dynamic space designed to foster networking, support state-of-the-art research, host inspiring events, and encourage innovative thinking. It reflects the progressive vision of today’s engineering community.

The venue features two advanced lecture theatres with a combined capacity of up to 626 delegates, or 451 individually. The Riverside Suite includes a balcony overlooking the Thames, while a newly added roof terrace offers space for up to 200 delegates. Additional supporting rooms are available for speakers and breakout sessions.

Catering rooms are located adjacent to the main event spaces and provide ample room for exhibition stands, with sufficient power and data points. Accessibility is a key consideration, with features such as a front-facing Sesame lift that ensures easy wheelchair access.

Several rooms, including the Maxwell Library and Riverside Room, offer private balconies with views of the Thames. The venue also includes two fully equipped boardrooms with HD video conferencing and many rooms fitted with relay screens and capabilities for filming and live streaming.

Audio and video signals can be transmitted between any rooms using the latest Polycom systems, and built-in display screens in each space can be used for branding during corporate events. For delegate convenience, writing pads, pens, and bottled still water are provided for all boardroom, cabaret, and classroom-style meetings.
