London Heritage Quarter is a vibrant area at the heart of a global city renowned for its culture, business and rich history. However, to ensure London evolves into the best city for its residents, it must grow together with them. While the city brims with opportunities, it also faces significant challenges, including rising loneliness, homelessness and substance misuse.
London Heritage Quarter are proud to be partnering with Volcano to launch Royalties London, a pilot project education programme designed for passionate young Londoners aged 18 to 30. Through four immersive day workshops, participants will learn how to create cultural events that unite communities and foster a sense of belonging. Each participant will be paired with an experienced mentor and gain the tools to design events that bring people together, making London Heritage Quarter a more inclusive and diverse place to live.
The programme culminates in a final event designed and executed by the participants themselves, providing hands-on learning and a direct contribution to London.

Selection Criteria: We are looking for a diverse group of young Londoners aged 18-30 who:
- Are passionate about creating cultural events that unite communities.
- Have the motivation, energy, and desire to develop themselves and others.
- Want to actively shape the future of their city by making it more inclusive and vibrant.
No formal educational qualifications are required—what matters most is your enthusiasm, your willingness to learn, and your commitment to making a difference. We value diversity and aim to build a group that reflects the richness of London’s communities.
