Mauro Colagreco at Raffles London at The OWO announces a captivating new limited-edition Tomato Menu

From 22nd July to 16th August, Michelin Starred Chef Mauro Colagreco will celebrate the height of summer with the launch of a new limited-edition Tomato Menu. The menu will be available at Chef Colagreco’s signature Michelin-starred restaurant at Raffles London at The OWO; an  ode to British terroir with a focus on locally produced and seasonal ingredients.

Carefully designed to showcase over 120,000 varieties of the tomato that exist worldwide, guests are invited to uncover the colour, fragrance and flavours of the fruit. The five course tasting menu has been carefully designed to take guests on a culinary journey through the different varieties of tomato that exist from local suppliers, whilst showcasing the creativity of Chef Colagreco’s cuisine and his renowned admiration for biodiversity.  The menu also tells the story of Chef’s passion for the fruit from the gardens in Mirazur France; his Mediterranean restaurant with nature at its heart.

As a staple of our summer cuisine, the vibrant dishes on offer will include locally sourced Tomato Salads made with fresh tomato, crispy salad, fig leaf oil, tomato water or Zucchini, Eggplant, and Tomato Tart. Also on offer, Tomatoes from the Isle of Wight served with XO Sauce, Saffron Sauce, Grilled Monkfish or Candied Tomato served with Tomato Sorbet, Sweet Pesto and Herb Cream.

The limited-edition menu, as with every menu at Mauro Colagreco, will offer dishes that use local, seasonal, organically produced ingredients. Chef Colagreco champions the use of local, small farmers and independent suppliers who care for the land and sea, ensuring exceptional produce throughout the Tomato Menu. Here, he will source his tomatoes from Isle of Wight Tomatoes, a farm known for delivering exceptional taste and innovation. Founded in 2007, Isle of Wight Tomatoes grows over 40 varieties every year in the Arreton Valley, benefiting from the island’s abundant sunshine, the highest in the UK, to ensure that each tomato ripens fully on the vine, enhancing its flavour profile.

In 2019, The Isle of Wight became one of only seven places in the UK to have been awarded a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Status, recognising their unique combination of nature, people and places. The Isle of Wight Biosphere spans all 33 parishes on land and stretches north from the shores of the mainland to the Channel, creating a dynamic and sustainable environment where communities and the natural world work together in an increasingly sustainable way.

The Tomato Menu will run at Chef Mauro Colagreco’s signature restaurant at Raffles London at The OWO from 22nd July to 16th August 2025.  The menu is available for five courses at £175, or three courses at £65 per person. There is also the option to opt for the two-course lunch menu for £50.
