London Heritage Quarter Launches ‘More Than Monuments’ to Champion Hidden Gems in the Capital

New campaign invites Londoners and visitors to explore hidden gems across the London Heritage Quarter beyond the city’s iconic landmarks.

Features exclusive offers, striking outdoor media, and a social campaign spotlighting bars, spas, boutiques, and cultural venues.

London Heritage Quarter has launched More Than Monuments, a new campaign inviting Londoners and visitors alike to explore the vibrant, lesser-known side of central London. From now through September, the campaign is shining a spotlight on the unique bars, restaurants, cultural spaces and experiences that give the area its heart and soul.

More Than Monuments spans the districts of Victoria, Victoria Westminster, Whitehall and The Northbank, covering 1.8 km² of the capital, and aims to boost footfall while supporting local businesses and reintroducing London’s historic centre as a place to experience, explore and enjoy.

The campaign is now live across key central London locations and media, including TfL ticket gateways at Embankment and Victoria stations, cross-street flags along Strand, lamppost banners on Victoria Street, and Channel 4 and All 4 advertising, reaching national audiences throughout the day.

Across central London, over 100 eye-catching banners ask passersby “Where am I?” followed by the call to action “Search More Than Monuments,” leading to the official campaign page.

Ruth Duston OBE, CEO of London Heritage Quarter, said: “More Than Monuments is about showcasing the beating heart of summer in London, not just the landmarks, but the places where locals eat, drink, relax and play. It’s a celebration of community, creativity and culture in central London, and we’re excited to invite the public back into these brilliant spaces.”
