Pride in the Quarter, June to August
Inspired by St James’s Park, a historic royal landscape shaped by ceremony, gathering and everyday movement through the heart of Westminster. Where Paths Meet transforms the lioness into a living map of connection and shared experience. Flowing pathways move across the form like routes through the park and city beyond, gathering around a quieter central clearing inspired by reflection and open green space. Layered colour and interwoven lines reference the park’s waterways, surrounding architecture and the communities that shape London’s identity, resilience and collective pride.

Explore parks and green spaces, cared for by the Royal Parks charity. Each year, they maintain 170,000 trees, protect habitats for 7,000 species, preserve 197 listed monuments & buildings, support community sport & education programmes, and host major events across the capital.
St James’s Park is the most royal of London’s Royal Parks. Surrounded by three royal palaces, it has long been the setting for historic national celebrations, military parades and royal events. Last summer, it welcomed the Lionesses’ UEFA Women’s Euro victory parade along The Mall.
Inspired by the movement, green spaces and shared experiences of Westminster, Linda Hortobagyi uses abstract line and colour to explore connection, belonging and collective identity within contemporary London.
