Pride in the Quarter, June to August

We Grow Together

Whitehall Gardens

Sponsored by London Heritage Quarter

Inspired by the theme “Rooted in Place”, this design explores how heritage, community and belonging can be expressed through nature. Ornamental roots anchor the lioness to London, symbolising history, strength and connection to place. As they grow, they transform into a flourishing ecosystem of flowers, each chosen to represent qualities including pride, care and resilience.
