Pride in the Quarter, June to August
This sculpture celebrates abstract art as a form of expression that transcends age, language and background. The geometric composition, with its sharp lines and structured forms, reflects the precision and facets of a diamond, while touches of gold acknowledge the royal character and architectural heritage of the surrounding area.
Inspired by the accessibility and emotional impact of abstract art, the sculpture uses bold colour and geometric composition to create a design that can connect across generations and backgrounds. Sharp lines and structured forms reference the precision and facets of a diamond, while gold accents reflect the royal heritage and architectural character of the surrounding area. The result is a vibrant celebration of colour, movement, and shared visual experience.
