Black History Month Events in London

October 19 2026

London Heritage Quarter

We’re celebrating Black History Month 2026 across London Heritage Quarter with a variety of events throughout October. We invite everyone to join us in celebrating Black history, culture and community across the area. See what’s on and book your place below.

  • 12pm to 3pm on Monday 19 October
  • Taking place at The Steps at The Coffee House in The Royal Society of Arts
  • Save your spot here

Get creative and collaborate on a Community Legacy Rug at this fun, hands-on workshop in honour of Black History Month.

With step-by-step guidance throughout the session, you’ll learn the techniques needed. Everyone who takes part will also be recognised on an engraved signage frame, celebrating contribution to the finished piece.

No previous experience is required and all tools and yarn are provided, so you can focus on getting creative and help bring the creative design to life.

Group Sweat at Barry’s SW1

Also taking place this October is a Group Sweat at Barry’s SW1 to celebrate World Mental Health Day. Limited spaces available! Be sure to book early to secure your spot.
